Product Details

Source: Escherichia coli.
Molecular Weight: Approximately 7.8 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
AA Sequence: APLAADTPTA CCFSYTSRQI PQNFIADYFE TSSQCSKPSV IFLTKRGRQV CADPSEEWVQ KYVSDLELSA
Purity: > 97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses.
Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human monocytes is in a concentration range of 1.0-10 ng/mL.
Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH7.4.
Endotoxin: Less than 1 EU/μg of rHuLD78-β/CCL3L1 as determined by LAL method.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge the vial briefly before opening to ensure that the contents settle at the bottom. Reconstitute the vial with sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to achieve a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Divide the resulting stock solution into working aliquots and store them at or below -20°C. For further dilutions, use appropriate buffered solutions.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Synonyms: G0/G1 switch regulatory protein 19-2, LD78-beta (1-70), PAT 464.2, Small-inducible cytokine A3-like 1, Tonsillar lymphocyte LD78 beta protein
Background: CCL3L1, also termed LD78-beta, is part of the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family and is encoded by the human CCL3L1 gene. It binds to multiple chemokine receptors, including CCBP2 (D6) and CCR5, and inhibits HIV-1 infection while being chemotactic for lymphocytes and monocytes. The recombinant human LD78β is a 7.7 kDa protein comprising 70 amino acids, including the four conserved cysteine residues characteristic of CC chemokines.
