Research on Jaw Disease

Jaw disease is a group of conditions affecting the jaw and surrounding structures, including osteomyelitis of jaws, non-neoplastic diseases of the jaw, and non-odontogenic tumors of the jaw. Many factors can contribute to the development of jaw disease, such as blood-borne infections, external injuries, abnormal embryonic development, etc. Jaw disease affects facial appearance and can lead to occlusal dysfunction, thus impacting patients' quality of life.

Among Jaw diseases, osteomyelitis of the jaws is more common and researched, and the current research focuses on microbiology study and antimicrobial drug development. Non-odontogenic tumors of the jaw are of low incidence, relatively rare, and complex in variety, and its research focuses on molecular markers development by new technologies to aid accurate diagnosis. The research of non-neoplastic diseases of the jaw centers on the exploration of pathogenic mechanisms and regenerative medicine development.

Our Products

Our Services

Jaw disease often manifests as pain and dysfunction of the jaw muscles. The research on jaw disease is a complex field involving multiple disciplines, including stomatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, pathology, and imaging. A deep understanding of the molecular mechanisms, cellular signaling pathways, and bio-physiological characteristics of jaw disease is needed to develop new diagnostic and treatment methods.

At Alta Stomatology, our committed team of experienced researchers and scientists is available at all times to provide high-quality services, safeguarding your research on jaw diseases.

Osteomyelitis of Jaws Research

Osteomyelitis of jaws research at Alta Stomatology focuses on acute suppurative osteomyelitis, chronic suppurative osteomyelitis, tuberculous osteomyelitis, etc.We are dedicated to providing histological analysis, immunohistological analysis, and microbiological diagnosis services to develop antimicrobial agents and new diagnostic methods to help better prevent and treat osteomyelitis of jaws.

Non-Neoplastic Diseases of the Jaw Research

Alta Stomatology specializes in non-neoplastic diseases of the jaw research, especially for pathogenic mechanisms study and regenerative medical materials development. With our rich experienced team, Alta Stomatology offers immunohistochemical analysis, histopathological analysis, mutation analysis, and medical regenerative materials development services to better understand the genetic factors and cell signaling pathways and assist in repairing and regenerating jaws.

Non-Odontogenic Tumors of the Jaw Research

At Alta Stomatology, we are committed to studying the mechanisms underlying non-odontogenic tumors of the jaw and developing innovative diagnostic approaches. Through molecular biology research, cytogenetic research and pathological research, we strive to develop biomarkers that can accurately diagnose and classify these tumors.
