As a multifunctional growth factor, it plays a crucial role in embryonic development and tissue repair. Furthermore, aFGF is involved in several significant physiological and pathological processes, including morphogenesis, angiogenesis, wound healing, atheromatosis, carcinogenesis, and the development and invasion of cancer. |
